Connor had a very special 6th birthday.  This was his first birthday to ever fall on a school day.  Mommy and Daddy surprised him with a visit to school that afternoon.  We brought strawberry cupcakes (his favorite), and Mommy read a book to his classmates.  After school, he tore into presents.  He got the spaceship he had been asking for, but the big surprise was his very own astronaut suit and helmet.  He got all suited up, then pumped his fist into the air while yelling ASA!  After laughing hysterically for a minute, we made sure he learned how to pronounce NASA correctly.  It was such a fun day with our big birthday boy.  We leave for our Atlantis trip tomorrow, but we plan to let him celebrate some more with his buddies soon after we return.
