We are thankful to have our little Hannah girl with us this Thanksgiving.  She is such a joy! She ate Thanksgiving dinner with Mommy, Daddy, her brothers, Mimi, and Grandy.  Hannah had turkey and sweet potatoes baby food.  She wore the pumpkin outfit that Nana and Granddaddy gave her.  The owl dress and tights that she wore to Connor's Thanksgiving program also doubled as her Halloween costume this year, because we couldn't find a cute costume in her petite little size.

The Saturday before Thanksgiving, Will and I took the boys on their first train ride, the Polar Express, out of Batesville, MS.  The Polar Express movie has always been a family favorite of ours.  We even play it at our house in the summer time.  So, this experience was very special for our guys.  From the "best hot chocolate ever" (as Weston said) to visiting with Santa and receiving bells, it was such a fun night. When we got back to town, we had treats at a local coffee shop on the square in Batesville.

Connor's Thanksgiving Program

That is one crazy little bird in all these pictures.  I think it is safe to say that Connor enjoyed playing the role of a turkey (trying to escape the butcher) in his Thanksgiving program.  Miss Chloe came to watch and got a picture with some of her friends, Connor, Marley, and Grayson.  The best part about the program for the Parrott boys is raiding the dessert reception table afterwards.  We usually lose one or two big boys for a little bit when they sneak off for a plate full of cookies and cupcakes.

50 Days of Kindergarten

For Connor's 50th day of kindergarten, he and his classmates had a big day of fun.  Connor wore my black leather jacket and we tried to fix his hair like James Dean's.  The girls were all dressed in poodle skirts and twirling so sweetly.  Connor and hi
s friends learned some good dance moves, like the Twist and the Hand Jive.  Connor was absolutely hilarious putting on a show for his friends and all the parents.  I had no idea that he was such a little entertainer! The kids had their pictures made with a real car from the 1950s.  Mrs. Kathy Wallace said that she learned to drive in that same model of car.  After all the morning fun, they had lunch from Johnnie's Drive-In and had Coke floats to drink.  I'm so glad I was able to be there to see the action.  It was too cute for words!
