Weston is starting to look like a big boy

We dressed Weston up in his first Halloween costume to take him to Christ Community Church's Fall Festival. (Thanks, Mimi, for sending us the cow costume). Weston loved it. He was so alert during the festival. Our LifeGroup (small group Bible study) set up a Speed Pitch booth. We used a radar gun to tell how fast everyone could pitch a baseball. When Will and Paul were setting up the booth, Will thought it would be funny to sprint as fast as he could while Paul clocked him. He came home and proudly said, "I can run 15 miles an hour!" At the booth, it seemed like there were more men lined up than children...waiting to prove themselves. There was a bit of a competition between our youth pastor, worship pastor, and lead pastor (who was a pitcher in college). Our youth pastor won with a 75 MPH pitch.

Hallelujah!!

Hallelujah! Will was hired by Southwest Airlines last week. He got the call last Wednesday from the chief pilot based out in Houston. His friend Charlie, who is also a Southwest pilot, called and left a prank message saying he had been hired a few hours earlier that morning. So, when he got the real call, Will questioned whether it was just another one of his friends playing a joke on him. We are so excited! It is funny that Will was first called for an interview the day we went to the hospital to have Weston. Will was hired on the day Weston turned 3 months old. The pieces of the puzzle are coming together. We can't wait to see what the next piece holds for us. We will find out within a few weeks when Will's training date for Southwest will be. As of right now, we will be going to San Antonio, TX, in January for Air Force Reserves training. Click on the link below to see how we feel about Will's new career.

Go Dawgs!

Baby Bulldog

Eyes glued to the TV during the game

Daddy actually let Weston hold the remote

He didn't miss any of the play-by-play action

Go Dawgs!

The field goal was good! Final score...24-14!

We dressed in our red & black for the Georgia vs. Vandy game today. Weston was wearing his Georgia Bulldog onesie, which helped bring victory to both the Georgia & Mississippi State Bulldogs last weekend! He also has a Mississippi State Bulldog outfit, but last time he wore it both our dawgs lost. So, we put that one away for this gameday. Weston's little eyes were glued to the TV during the game. He didn't want to miss any of the play-by-play action! Georgia won today, and we'll see how the Maroon Dawgs do against Tennessee tonight. I can't believe our three month old already loves SEC football!

Pumpkin Patch

Looking at all the pumpkins

Joshua leaned on Weston...Oops, Weston fell over!

Then, Weston cried and Joshua pouted as if to
say, "I'm sorry"

Still not happy...

Me, Weston, Kristen, and Joshua
(our babies are 2 weeks apart)

I tried to interest Weston in a pumpkin
just his size, but he wasn't impressed.

First time on dad's shoulders. He was
holding onto Will's hair for dear life!

My friend Kristen and I took our boys to the Pumpkin Patch last Friday morning following our playdate breakfast. We stayed too long after breakfast and interrupted nap time for our little guys. But, we pressed on to the local pumpkin patch to take pictures, anyway. You will see in the pictures that Joshua and Weston could care less about pumpkins. They were ready to go home!! It was a nasty day outside for picture-taking, but I don't think we will be going back to the Pumpkin Patch any time soon! We'll just wait until next year...

Will and I also couldn't resist taking pictures with Weston in his Halloween suit. Weston loves his daddy, and Will is such an incredible dad. I just love my boys!

Will and I went to my 10 year high school reunion a few weeks ago. We had a blast! It was so good to see everyone. There were lots of little ones at our picnic...it was crazy to see all our friends with families now! Our main event was at Old Venice in Tupelo. The band was Reaching Jane, and they were awesome. Two of the band members actually went to high school with us. We did a sort of Who's Who awards & we were given leis. I took the lei for the newest parent--Weston was only 9 weeks old. I think Will & I closed the place down...we stayed out until 2 AM!! Not bad for new parents, huh? We were wishing we hadn't stayed up past our bedtime as we drove home to South Carolina the next day. We are planning to move back to Tupelo in the Spring, if that is where God is leading us. After being home for the reunion, looking at some houses, and attending a playgroup with Emily, we are getting very excited about our next move. Will has accepted a job as a part-time reservist, where he will be an instructor pilot. We will be going to San Antonio, TX, for a few months training in either January or March. I am looking forward to that, too! I love the River Walk. So many things are up in the air for us...and it is such an exciting time. Please be praying for us, and we'll keep you posted...

A Sort of Birthday Party

Aunt Marzelle's & Andrew's Cupcakes
Mommy had to eat his cupcake:)
With Uncle Brian
Andrew is not so sure about holding
a crying baby

Looks like Weston isn't so sure about Barney!
I can't say I blame him.
Meredith & Weston
Meredith, you'll make a great mom (any time soon??)

On the way back from the beach, we made a stop in Jackson to visit Brian, Marzelle, & Andrew, so they could meet Weston. I was excited to get to see Meredith, too! She came by our hotel room before we went over to Brian & Marzelle's. When we got to their house, there was a "Welcome Baby Weston" sign on the door. Marzelle & Andrew had made cupcakes for everyone & personalized them with names. Since Weston is not ready for cupcakes yet, I got to enjoy his! I guess Weston had a sort of birthday party, complete with presents, because Brian & Marzelle were not there for his birth. Thank ya'll so much. We had a lot of fun! Will was sad that he couldn't be there. Be sure to check out the videos I attached. You can pause the music playlist so you will be able to hear the video.
