Andrew and Grace came to visit for a week in April.  The kids had fun playing together.  They went to play in the Fairpark Fountain one day, where they also had a picnic before going to Rosie's for cupcakes and cookies.  Everyone came to watch Weston play his last soccer games.  At the end of the week, Will & I took Andrew, Weston, & Connor to the circus.  They ate popcorn and played with light up circus toys & swords during the show.  It was such a great way to end our time together with Andrew.

Weston's first soccer season was a lot of fun.  He quickly learned the rules of the game, and he scored a few goals, too!  He got his first ever trophy after the last game.  He was very, very excited to finally have his own trophy!!  He kept it in his top drawer for safe keeping.  Connor was too young to play this year, but I bought him his own mock uniform, complete with a jersey, cleats, bright green socks, and shin guards, so he could be included in the fun.  He looked adorable running around on the sidelines during Weston's games and kicking the ball into the goal after each game was over.  On the night Connor first wore his uniform, I told him he was "Green Lightning", because he was as fast as lightning.  When we arrived at the fields, he asked, "Hey Mommy, where is my team?"  It was so sad that he didn't understand, but we told him that his team was still practicing and that they would join him in the Fall.  Connor will get to play in the Fall, and Will is going to coach his team.  We will have two soccer players playing games next season!  And so it begins...
