Since Connor's birthday was Mississippi State's first home game (September), we celebrated at the tailgate in the Junction.  It was a really HOT day, so we all were dripping sweat, but it was a lot of fun.  Connor & Weston loved being at the tailgate this football season.  For the boys, being at the tailgate meant eating lots of cupcakes or cookies and running around the amphitheater.  Will, the boys, and I also enjoyed getting to spend time with our friends Mary, David, & Chloe, too.

Will, the kids, and I had the best summer ever!  We hosted a college intern who was working at the Orchard in our home.  Mary Perry was such a blessing to us all.  We truly fell in love with her.  Connor had his own little pet name for her, too--"LaLa".  We enjoyed afternoons with Mary, both on the back porch and on the front driveway as the boys played in the plastic pool.  We shared dinner together every night at the kitchen table.  We welcomed Mary's fiance' David into our family on the weekends, as well.  We also watched lots of Friends episodes in the sunroom:).  It was so rewarding to get to open our lives up to Mary.  When she left to go back to school in August, it felt as if something was missing in our home.  It was as if a part of our family was gone.
