Will, the kids, and I had the best summer ever! We hosted a college intern who was working at the Orchard in our home. Mary Perry was such a blessing to us all. We truly fell in love with her. Connor had his own little pet name for her, too--"LaLa". We enjoyed afternoons with Mary, both on the back porch and on the front driveway as the boys played in the plastic pool. We shared dinner together every night at the kitchen table. We welcomed Mary's fiance' David into our family on the weekends, as well. We also watched lots of Friends episodes in the sunroom:). It was so rewarding to get to open our lives up to Mary. When she left to go back to school in August, it felt as if something was missing in our home. It was as if a part of our family was gone.
