We spent our first Thanksgiving at the beach this year. On our way down, we stopped in Hattiesburg to visit Mary and David and meet baby Connor.  Connor was so excited to hold him and spend time with him.  Then, we traveled on to Orange Beach to meet up with Mimi and Grandy.  We went to the beach each day for a couple of hours, followed by time in the indoor pool and hot tub.  Mimi made Thanksgiving dinner for us, and we all watched the Egg Bowl together at Tidewater. On our last night, we went to Flip Daddy's restaurant.  We ate burgers outside by the fire.  All the boys played corn hole, and we watched football games on TV.  We finished our meal with hand-scooped milkshakes.  It made for a very fun night out!

Mimi and Grandy kept Hannah so we could take the boys to a football game yesterday in Starkville.  We accidentally left our cowbell at home, so of course we had to go buy a new one in the bookstore. We also had to get bone and bulldog sugar cookies from the bakery.  James had a blast ringing the cowbell during the game.  The Bulldogs pulled a win!  Afterwards, we met up with Danielle and Emory to chat for a bit.

James wanted to have his 4th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's.  His party did not disappoint.  He had his school friends there, and we checked Weston and Connor out of school early so they could be there to celebrate.  James's school friends came to the party and played games with him, ate pizza and cake, and won prizes.  James asked for a chocolate Mickey Mouse cake, and that is exactly what Mommy got for him.  It was yummy!  James says that he wants his next birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, too, and he wants the same cake.  I guess he loved it all!
