     Mommy, Daddy, and Hannah took James to breakfast at Crave on his first day of kindergarten.  This boy was so excited to be starting kindergarten!  Mommy taught him to read over the summer, so he was all set to learn the many things that kindergarten brings.  James is a smart boy, and we are so proud of him!

Hannah’s Injury

     Hannah had a little run-in with the new zipline. One of her brothers broke a rule and put her on it when there were no adults outside to assist.  At the end of the line, she let go and did a back flip toward the ground (according to Connor).  After a trip to urgent care, Dr. Jennings informed us that Hannah's wrist was sprained. She will have to wear this brace for a little while, but thankfully no bones were broken. The sucker at the urgent care clinic seemed to make our sweet girl feel better.

Weston’s 10th Birthday Dinner and Bigs' Trip to Colorado

 

 

We celebrated Weston's 10th birthday dinner at Mt. Fuji on July 20, because he and Connor arrived in Colorado with Mimi and Grandy on his actual birthday.  On July 23, Mimi and Grandy took Weston, Connor, Andrew, and Grace to spend the day at an arcade in Colorado Springs.  The boys and their cousins had a fun time together.  When the boys came home from Colorado, we surprised them with a zipline in our yard.  It was a birthday gift for Weston and an early birthday gift for Connor.  We all had fun trying it out!   

Hannah’s Big Girl Room

     When Hannah returned home from a week at Nana and Granddaddy’s with her brothers, she came home to a surprise. Will and I made over her room with my grandmother’s antique bed and dresser.  I decorated her new bed with a blush pink comforter and finished it off with a ballerina pillow.  On a side note, James and Weston caught their first fish last week in the pond across the street from Nana and Granddaddy’s house. They were both very excited!
