     We celebrated the week of Hannah's 2nd birthday at the most magical place on earth--Disney World!  It was so fun to introduce our little princess to the Disney Princesses.  Hannah got to meet Cinderella (her favorite) and Belle.  She rode the teacups, Peter Pan, It's a Small World, and Pirates of the Caribbean in the Magic Kingdom.  The brothers participated in the Pirate's League, and got painted and dressed up like pirates.  Our little Tinkerbell was scared to death when she first saw her brothers as pirates.  She cried and ran away from them.  At Epcot, we got to ride the Frozen ride, and we saw the Lion King show at Animal Kingdom.  Connor and Weston got to ride the Everest roller coaster there, as well.  They loved it!  The highlight of the week was when we had a semi-private fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom.  Hannah sat on the front row in front of Cinderella's castle, wearing her Cinderella dress, as we watched the fireworks and ate funnel cake for dessert.  We also got to spend some time with our special friends, the Carnathans!  They came to spend Memorial Day with us at our resort pool.  We had a wonderful trip!

 Both Connor and Weston finished their school years strong at TCPS.  Connor completed Pre-1st and Weston completed 2nd grade.  We celebrated with them at their Awards Day programs.  Mrs. Aguirre chose the Responsibility character award for Connor.  She said that he always knew what to do each day with their classwork routines.  Weston got the PE award, Computer award, Accelerated Math certificate, and the Responsibility character trait.  Will and I thought it was pretty interesting that both our big boys were awarded the Responsibility character trait.  What a great trait to have!  We have taught them from a young age to accept responsibility.  I'm so glad they are now bearing fruit.

Connor played the role of the wise old owl in the TCPS spring play, "Why Did God Make the Cockroach".  He did a great job memorizing all his lines.  I thought he was the cutest owl ever!  It was funny that he was chosen to be the owl, because the name Connor means "wise".

 Mimi and Grandy invited James to go to the beach with them.  He got some special time with his grandparents at his favorite place.  He played hard, swam hard, ate lots of cookies, and had the best time.  Mimi and Grandy said that he was such a good boy.  James is already talking about going back to the beach.

Our friend Chloe is serving as an intern this year with Daraja Children's Choir from Africa.  They are touring the United States before returning to Africa next month.  They made a stop at St. Luke United Methodist  this week. Our family was so blessed to host three boys from across the globe in our home.  Two boys were from Uganda, and one was from Kenya.  Our children loved meeting and loving on these children for a few days.  The Parrott boys all gave up their rooms, so our guests could have their beds.  Everyone slept in Hannah's room, and our guests and their intern, TJ, had the downstairs to themselves. We traded cultures, in a sense.  In Africa, family members sleep in the same room together, because their houses are much smaller. When our Daraja boys left today, we were all so sad. James wanted his friends to stay here forever. They taught us about their lives and homes, and they filled our home with joy and laughter. To God be the glory for his amazing creation and for his Word to reach others across the globe.

For Valentine's Day, I gave the kids some small heart cakes for us to bake and ice together.  Connor's favorite dessert is strawberry cake, and last night, we made his cake.  James, Connor, and Hannah all had fun being my little chefs.  The cake was delicious, too!
